 BOONE, N.C. – Members of the Mars Hill College Track & Field Teams competed at the ASU Valentine Meet Thursday.
Aaron Thomas (Seminole, Fla.) placed first in the One Mile Run in 4:31.44. Frankie Waters (Brevard, N.C.) won the 55 Meter Hurdles in a time of 7.79 seconds. He also placed fifth in the 55 Meter Dash in a time of 6.59 seconds. Tyrea Allen (Murphy, N.C.) was fifth in the 200 Meter Dash in a time of 23.61 seconds.
 On the women's side, Erin Stowe (Cincinnati, Ohio) was fifth in the Weight Throw with a toss of 9.14 meters. Jessica McEntyre (Landrum, S.C.) placed fifth in the 55 Meter Dash in 7.62 seconds.
Mars Hill will participate in the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational on February 13-14.
