P.J. MaloneyBRISTOL, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's and women's swimming teams defeated King College Saturday. The men won 114-69 and the women prevailed 119-74. The men are 6-0 overall. The women are 7-0 overall.

For the men P.J. Maloney (Corning, N.Y.) was victorious in the 200 Yard Freestyle, 500 Yard Freestyle and the 100 Yard Butterfly. Carson Fackler (Bakersfield, Calif.) won the 200 Yard Individual Medley and the 100 Yard Backstroke.

Brittany ButlerFor the women Rebekah Thomas (Stanley, N.C.) won the 100 Yard Backstroke and teamed to win the 200 Yard Medley Relay and 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Lena Palo (Lexington, S.C.) took first place in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Freestyle. Brittany Butler (Lake Wales, Fla.) won the 200 Yard Individual Medley and 100 Yard Breaststroke.

Mars Hill will host Milligan College on January 31 in a dual meet. The meet is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
