MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill lacrosse team is ranked tenth in the nation according to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, executive director John Spring announced today.
The lacrosse team is also ranked ninth in the nation according to Face-Off Yearbook and has six players on the publication's preseason All-America Team.
The Lions posted a record of 11-6 last season. The squad averaged 13.06 goals per game, good for fourth best in the nation.
Mars Hill opens its season this Saturday at St. Andrews. The game will begin at 2 p.m.
