SAC Baseball Tournament Link...

WINGATE, N.C. - A live pay-per-view video stream will be available for the 2009 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference baseball tournament, Wingate University athletic officials announced this week. The Wingate University Sports Network will provide the live pay-per-view video stream in cooperation with Internet Consulting Services, Inc. (ICS). The tournament begins Thursday and runs through Sunday (please see schedule below).

Fans can purchase each video baseball contest for $4.95. The Wingate University Sports Network and ICS will give viewers a chance to purchase a video tournament pass for $29.95 (10-11 broadcasts for the price of six). Please note a short registration process is required prior to purchasing the video stream. Registration is required to view the contest. Wingate University baseball video season pass holders can watch the Food Lion SAC tournament games at no additional charge.

In addition to the pay-per-view video stream, fans can listen to the SAC baseball action on Stretch Internet. The 2008-09 Internet audio broadcasts are free; however, listeners must have QuickTime Player installed on their computer. Please note QuickTime <http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/>  is a free download; the QuickTime link can be also accessed via the Stretch Internet web site.

Wingate University graduates Ryan Brown (class of 2006) and Hugh Patton (class of 2006) will provide the play-by-play and color, respectively, for the broadcasts.  Bulldog senior Drew Boone (Rockingham, N.C.) produces the video broadcasts for the Wingate University Sports Network. Wingate students will also assist in various behind-the-scenes duties.
